BANGOR & HOLYWOOD, CO. DOWN 2010 -
OVERVIEW
Colly Strings is a young indie-pop band from the Holywood/Bangor area of Co. Down. The group came together in 2010 with a lineup of Travis Gilbert [Vocals & Guitar], Richard Hill [Guitar], Callum Cairns [Bass Guitar] and Andrew Bleakley [Drums]. Travis, Andrew and Richard had previously played together as part of SevenStoryWeather. Since its formation, the band has made an instant impression on audiences, drawing favourable comparisons with the likes of Biffy Clyro and Two Door Cinema Club.

In May 2010, just a few months after coming together, the quartet released a self-titled debut EP. Fastforward to 2011 and a new single was on the way - 'Take A Good Look' was released in April.
