In 1995, he attended a singer/songwriter club and allowed the promoter to play one of Coade's songs at his own show. This proved to be popular with the audience and prompted Coade to get a band toegther and get some recording time. Coade enlisted Liam Mulvaney on guitar, bassist Brian O'Toole and drummer Barnes Goulding. The first recoded output from the group was 'Too Young' which was released on Treasure Island records in 1996.
