BRAY, CO. WICKLOW 2005 -
OVERVIEW
Clockwork Noise was formed in 2005 by Robert Maguire and Dylan Nolan. Robert [Voclas & Guitar] and Dylan [Bass Guitar] had previously been part of Nivola. The duo set about completing the line up and recruited Blathnaid Healy [Violin & Cello] and Aaron Kennedy [Drums]. Over the Summer of 2005, the band recorded a set of tracks which were released on the 'If I Wanted, I Could' album. Soon after the release of the album, Blathnaid moved to the US and the project was put on hold.

In 2007, Blathnaid returned, the group recruited Chris O'Connor [Guitar] and set about recording once more. These tracks eventually saw the light of day as part of the 'Yes And No And Everything In Between' EP which was released in the Summer of 2009. Shortly after the release of the EP, Aaron left the group to pursue some personal projects. Michael Fenton was brought in to perform drumming duties. Michael formerly played with Chris in No Standing.

During 2011, Michael spent most of the year drumming with God Is An Astronaut. However, in 2013, Clockwork Noise returned with a new album, 'Whethermachines'. As had become trademark with the band, it was a further two years before the next release. The single, 'Dissolution' was meant to be a precusor for an EP which was provisionally entitled 'Light On Light'. To date, this EP has not materialised.
