OVERVIEW Clayton wsa a folk-pop band which featured Lindsay Armaou who had earlier performed as part of B*Witched. As part of the Dublin four-piece Lindsay had gone on to great success scoring 4 UK Number 1 singles and two hit albums. However, that project ended in 2002. In the post-B*Witched era, Lindsay relocated to London. In 2006, she joined the London based Clayton whose line up also included Rick Mitra [Bass Guitar], John Peppard [Guitar], Geoff Dunn [Drums], Leon Spicer [Violin] and Charles Boywer [Guitar & Backing Vocals]. The band had previously been known as Callaghan, however, a name change came about with the departure of their vocalist, Georgina Callaghan and the arrival of Lindsay. The band released one four-track EP during it's career. Entitled 'It Was Meant To Be', the single featured 'Two Days Out Of Seven', 'Whatever I Want' and 'A Girl Should Never Eat Alone' as well as the title track.
