OVERVIEW Clancy was the stage name for Paul Clancy. Paul had come to prominence as the drummer with NPB [National Prayer Breakfast] who released a number of critically acclaimed albums. Since the band split, he has been working on his own material in conjunction with Kevin Connolly of Herm. The pair recorded the debut album 'Road To The Heart' and it was pencilled in for a release in early 2010. However, in February of that year, Paul died suddenly. However, in spite of the tragic loss, it was decided to go ahead with the album release. In late 2011, a further EP was release. The self-titled release contained a cover version of Beyonce's 'Halo' as well as the previous unreleased tracks 'To The Even Flow', 'For Wanting You' and 'The Town Where I'm From'. 2010 - Release of 'Hope In Your Heart' single - Release of 'Road To The Heart' album [01 April] 2011 - Release of 'Clancy' EP [10 October] |
