OVERVIEW Circus Cat was a 4-piece guitar-rock band from Cork. The group came together in about 2005 with a line up of Caoilian Sherlock [Vocals & Guitar], Robbie Barron [Guitar & Vocals], Donal Linehan [Bass Guitar] and Shane Murphy [Drums]. In spite of being a young band, they took their inspiration from artists like Radiohead, Oasis, Neil Young and Supergrass. The band recorded its debut EP, 'Take It All To Heart' with Finny Corcoran in 2008. The record was launched with a gig at The Pavillion in December 2008. The tracklisting of this release is unknown at this time. The band went on to record a second EP which was relased tow years later, in December 2010. 'Inside A Broken Clock' which featured 'Happy Falling', 'Railroad Tracks' and 'Time's A Twisting Hand'. In 2012, the quarter deciced to relaunch under a different name and became The Shaker Hymn.
