OVERVIEW Chewing On Tinfoil is a 5-piece ska/punk band from Tallaght. The band was originally formed by Stu, Al and Ben in the early part of the 2000s. As a trio, they recorded a demo called 'Prequel To The Sequel' in 2004. BY the time they came to record their second demo a year later, Anto had been enlisted on guitar. The final member of the group Sos, joined sometime after this.The band's first proper release came in 2007 with 'Myster' EP. The 6-track collection featured tracks such as 'Along The Way', 'Elitest Process' and 'Exchequer Religion'. While the band continued to tour and gig regularly it would be another two years before they released their debut album. It came in June 2009 and was entitled 'Get Rich or Try Dyin'. The band returned in August 2010 with new material in the form of the 'Shaving' EP. In July 2011, the band released a split 7" single along with Jim Lockey And The Solemn Sun.
