OVERVIEW Chequerboard is Dublin based guitarist / producer John Lambert who has two releases proper to date. The debut Chequerboard album 'Gothica' was released in 2002 through Reverb records (US) and the more acoustic follow up E.P. 'Dictaphone Showreels' was released in Nov 2005 through Dublin label Lazybird. Chequerboard has played support for Susumu Yokota, Murcof & Jimi Tenor and plays live regularly in Dublin. 2002 - Release of debut album 'Gothica' [November] 2005 - Release of 'Dictaphone Showreels' E.P.
