DUBLIN 2008 -
OVERVIEW
Cheap Freaks is a garage punk band based in Dublin. The band was formed in 2008 by Robbie Brady [Vocals & Bass Guitar] and Al Dodd [Vocals & Guitar]. Brady had previously played with The Things while Dodd was a member of DC Pakt. The pair share lead duites in the band whose current line up also includes Ruairi Paxton [Organ] and Dave Mulvaney [Drums].

The band released its debut single in July 2010 as a limited edition single on Big Neck Records. The 4-track EP included 'Caesar The Deceiver', '1984', 'Nowhere To Go' and 'Something Wrong'. The band's next release followed in January 2011. The 'Teenage Brains' EP was released on the band's own Psycho Sound Records.

The band released its debut album, 'Bury Them All' in February 2012 before teaming up with The Mighty Stef for a split 7" released on Record Store Day [21 April]. In October of that year, the Cheap Freaks realeased its 'Live At The Olympia'.
