OVERVIEW Changing Gears is a pop-rock band from Dublin. Te group was formed in 2009 and the early line up featured Eoin O'Donnell [Vocals, Guitar & Organ], Steve Power [Keyboards & Vocals], Colin Reid [Drums, Guitar & Organ] and Ciara Moran [Vocals & Harmonies]. The membership of the group has been somewhat fluid with Eoin and Colin remaining at the heart of Changing Gears throughout. Today the band includes Eoin and Colin as well as Morgan O'Brien [Drums], Steve Power [Vocals & Keyboards] and Danny Spelman [Bass Guitar]. Danny had previously played with Jupiter Forest. All members of the band are involved inwriting which can make for a pretty eclectic repertoire! This also brings out differing influences of the band. Its own sound is described as a blend of rock, pop and punk. To date the group has released two albums - 'The End' in 2010 and 'Communicate' in 2016. Prior to the release of the latter, the band also issued 'We Hear You' which featured unreleased tracks, alternate versions etc. In addition to this, they have released a string of EPs and singles.
