OVERVIEW Cave Ghosts are purveyors of sweet intelligent pop music. Formed in 2012, the original linep included Jen Connell [Vocals & Keyboards], Aoife O'Carra [Guitar], Daniel Leopold Verdine [Bass Guitar] and Sarah Grimes [Drums]. Daniel and Sarah have since departed but have been replaced by JP Linklater [Bass Guitar], Maggie Fagan [Drums], Sundara O'Higgins [Guitar]. The group could be considered an indie supergroup as it shares a rich musical lineage. Jen has fronted Hooray For Humans, Maggie drums with Grand Pocket Orchestra and Sundara has also been a part of HUNK! JP Linklater is also known as Jonny Fun of the ... Hesitations fame and member of Yeh Deadlies. The group released its first demo in October of 2012. The demo included 3 tracks 'Hideaway', 'La Concha' and 'When You Go Away'. All three tracks from the demo appeared on 'The Community Games' compilation via Popical Island Records. The band next recorded and released the 'K9 Sessions' in conjunction with Phantom FM. The lead track from this release, 'Mistakes' was contributed to 'Nobody's Business' compilation was included on Dutch label Candy Twist Records. 2014 saw the band undergo a series of lineup changes. In spite of this, they still found time to record and contribute a cover of Kylie Minogue's 'Come Into My World' to the 'Record Store Gay 2014' compilation. The Summer saw the band playing the festival circuit with a noted appearance at Castlepalooza in August. The following year saw the band finally release its full debut single.
