OVERVIEW Carried By Waves is the latest musical outing from Ronan McCann. He was previously the front man with Paining By Numbers who released a couple of EPs during the mid 2000s. Since that project came to an end, McCann has started performing under the Carried By Waves moniker. This name change also resulted in a change in musical direction. Ronan has embraced a more electronic approach which has been evidenced by his releases to date The first of these, the imaginatively titled 'EP No. 1' was released in January 2011. This 4-tracker included 'Day Is Folding Up' and 'Familiar Hallways' amongst others. A second EP, 'Neither Either Or' followed in July. The lead track on his EP was 'Haphazardly Amorous'. In September of the same year Carried By Waves released a Remix EP with reworked versions of tracks from the first two EPs.
