OVERVIEW Carnún was a short lived black metal band from Cork. The group was formed in 1995 and featured a lineup of Mark Ryan Fynes [Vocals], Noel Lynch [Bass Guitar], Mick Flynn [Guitar, Bass Guitar & Drums], Damien Looney [Keyboards & Synths] and Rocky [Drums]. It is believed that the group originally traded as Defy Christ before deciding on a name change. The band recorded a solitary demo entitled 'Malkuth'. The demo was recorded in one day in Connolly's of Leap. The band split in 1997. Mick went on to join Primordial. Noel would later play with the likes of Half Mast, [R]evolution Of A Sun and, more recently, Slow Motion Heroes.
