OVERVIEW Cabrini Green was a Dublin-based band alternative rock band. The group was formed in 2002 when Kevin Hickey returned from the UK where he had been playing with a band called The Magic Dragons. He enlisted the support of his brother, Brian [Guitar], David Smith [Keyboards & Vocals], Gavin Lang [Drums] and Mike Glennon [Bass Guitar]. Gavin was later replaced on drums by Tim O'Neill. The band released its self-titled debut EP in 2003. The collection featured 'Driftin', 'Merky', 'Two Weeks' and 'Over And Over'. The band also gigged extrensively throughout this early period. The band then set about recording its debut album. In advance of the launch, Cabrini Green, released 'Breakdown' as a taster of what was to follow.
