DUBLIN 1981 -
OVERVIEW
The Business was a Dublin-based Blues band formed in 1981. While the lineup stabilised in around 1983 with a lineup of Don Baker [Vocals & Harmonica], Pat Farrell [Guitar & Vocals], Dave Murphy [Guitar & Keyboards], Tommy Moore {Bass Guitar] and Dave White [Drums], the early years saw a lot of other fleeting members including, Errol Walsh [Guitar & Vocals], Jimmy Faulkner [Guitar], James Delaney [Keyboards], Fran Breen [Drums], Davy Gaynor [Drums] and Gerry Hendricks [Guitar].

The band released their debut single, 'Let Me In' in 1984 on Bus Records. This was soon followed by 'Leavin' On A Midnight Train' later that year. A third, and final, single entitled 'Two Sided Story' was released in 1985.

The band never really split and have continued to perform. However, the membership has been fluid with individuals going on to other projects. Most notably, Don Baker went on to have a successful solo career.
