OVERVIEW

Buckle was an experimental rock band which was active during the 1990s. The group was formed in about 1994 and featured a line up of Stephen Rennicks [Guitar & Recordings], Glenn Campbell [Bass Guitar] and Francis Dowling [Drums]. The group rehearsed in large turf shed in Allenwood, Co. Kildare in preparation for their time on the live circuit. Buckle played a number of gigs around the country, however, Dublin and Kilkenny were regular haunts for the band. Some of the band's memorable performances came in The Attic and The Da Club in Dublin. While the band did not release any material during its career, it did record a number of tracks including titles such as 'Floored'

After Buckle, Stephen went on to perform with Memory Cells and Secret Society.
