| OVERVIEW Bright Light Fiasco are a rock quartet from the Dublin/Kildare area. The band is made up fragments of broken bands form years gone by who enjoyed a degree of success regionally and nationally. Peco was lead singer/songwriter in Pedestrienne, Dave lead guitarist/songwriter in After the Party and Johnny played drums with Penfold DM. The band met while playing with Peco on a promotional tour of his debut solo EP in 2003. On the penultimate night of the tour, in an old Kildare ballroom, in front of a expectant capacity 'home' crowd, the sound desk failed due to a short with the lights….explosions and sparks ensued. After a brief interlude one channel was salvaged for a vocal mic and amps were turned up to 11. The night was a nervy sweaty success and more importantly a band was born. 2003 - Band formed 2007 - Release of 'Red Sky This Morning' single [27 April] 2008 - Release of 'A New Way Of Living' single |
