DUBLIN 2004 -
OVERVIEW
Brazen Lungs is a four piece band from Dublin. The group originally came into existence in 2004 when Rob Shiels and Paul Martin came together to write and record music. This original two piece line up used a drum machine to complete their sound. Over the next four years, the duo continued to experiment and record, however, this never went any further. Through this period, drummer Alan Weldon made a number of guest appearances on the recording sessions.

The existing line up came in to being in late 2008 when Paul, Alan and Rob got together to record some songs. The trio felt that a bassist was required to complete the line up and by early 2009, James Lindsay was recruited. The first output from the band came in the form of the 'Brazen Lungs' EP which was released in August of the same year.
