OVERVIEW The Boxtie Band is a blues-rock band based in Bordoran, Co. Donegal. Lead man and guitar supremo, Johnny Gallagher, originally traaded under his own name before forming The Boxtie Band. He is joined in the band by his twin brothers Jame [Bass Guitar] and Pauric [Piano & Organ]. The lineup is completed by drummer Michael Christie. Michael has a long musical career playing with bands such as The Wild Herrings, The Malfunctions and Georgia. The Boxtie Band is well known for its incendiary live performances during which the group perform original material interspersed with interpretations of rock classics from the likes of Pink Floyd, Lynrd Skynrd and Jimi Hendrix. The quartet has graced stages across Europe as well as wowing crowds at The Electric Picnic back home. 200x -Band formed
