OVERVIEW Boxes is an experimental rock band, originally from Tullamore, Co. Offaly but now based in Dublin. Based around Gavin Cowley [Vocals & Bass Guitar] and Mark Hayes [Drums], the band was formed in 2002. To date the band has released three acclaimed albums - 'Big Ships In The Night, Small Boats In The Morning' [2003], 'Bad Blood' [2006] and 'Animal' [2008]. In addition to his duties with Boxes, Gavin has also found the time to perform with The Kites. More recently he has also been fronting Glimmermen along with former members of The Holy Ghost Fathers, Jackbeast and The Long Knives.
