DUBLIN 2003 -
OVERVIEW
Boss Volenti is a straight up rock 'n' roll band from Dublin. The group was created in 2003 by Rob Daly [Vocals & Guitar], Dan O'Connor [Bass Guitar] and Moss [Drums]. The band self-released their debut single, 'I Know What You Want' the following year. However, later that year, Moss would leave the band. Undeterred the band moved forward and set out to record their debut album with a new drummer. However, the new addition did not gel with the band. However, Graham Hopkins of My Little Funhouse, THERAPY? and Halite fame heard that the group was looking for a drummer and successfully proposed himself for the role.

With the line up complete, the band completed the recording of their debut album. The first taster from the album, 'Deeper Than Deep' was released in February 2006, with a second single 'Ain't No Use' following in June. Both singles were very well released. The self-titled debut album was unleashed in September. To round off a busy year, the band was invited to perform at the Hard Working Class Heroes festival in Dublin.

The band released a further single, 'The Gun' in 2007. The following year saw the band play at the Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally. In the aftermath of this performance, Graham announced that he was to leave the band to concentrate on other commitments.
