OVERVIEW Blue Monday was a rock band from Portlaoise. The group was formed towards the end of the 1990s and featured Stewart Quinn [Vocals & Rhythm Guitar], David Quinn [Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals], Dave Lacumber [Bass Guitar] and Alan Ryan [Drums]. The band released a 4-track demo in 1999. This collection included tracks such as 'Where Did It All Go Wrong?', 'Talk To Me' and 'Perfect World'. The latter went on to become a single released by the band in 2001. Sometime after this single release, the band split with the Quinns re-emerging as part of Transmitter who released an album entitled 'Empty Train' in 2004. 199x - Band formed 2001 - Release of 'Perfect World' single
