DUBLIN 1997 - 200x
OVERVIEW
In March 1997 four South Dubliners joined forces and formed the band - 'Blew'. They are Tiarnan Johnston on drums, Rob Quinn on lead guitar and backing vocals, Shane Cullen on bass and Marc Roche on rhythm guitar and lead vocals.
-Their first gig was held at The Magic Carpet venue in Dublin. Since then they have performed in many of the city's well known live venues such as The Mean Fiddler, The Da Club, Whelan's, The Temple Bar Music Centre and most recently The Garage in London. One of their greatest achievements to date was winning the 'Bacardi / Hot Press Unplugged Band' of the year award. It was obvious to everyone present that 'Blew' had that extra ingredient that so many young bands strive to attain.

Influenced by every corner of the music world 'Blew' have combined all elements of psychedelic rock and pop giving rise to their first single 'Designer Label'. The reaction being onwards and upwards for 'Blew' as they receive airplay on national radio and tv stations while being reviewed by all the expected newspapers and magazines throughout the country. Their second single, which is called 'Time To Pass The Time', is being released in September, no doubt the praises will be loud and positive.
