OVERVIEW The Biscuits was a short-lived punk-pop band based in Co. Kildare. The group was formed in the Summer of 2005 by Laura Cassidy [Vocals & Electric Organ], Laura McGlynn [Vocals & Bass Guitar], Martina McDonald [Glockenspiel, Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals], Anthea Middleton [Lead Guitar & Vocals] and Liz Maybury [Drums]. The group was originally known as The Violet Kerosene Biscuits before deciding on the shortened moniker. The group wrote and performed an amount of original material, however, there are no known releases from the band. Laura Cassidy has since gone on to become a writer of teenage fiction. She released the novel 'Angel Kiss' in 2011. 2005 - Band formed
