OVERVIEW The Bionic Rats is a ska and reggae band based in Dublin. The group was formed out of the ashes of #King Sativa who released tow albums - 'We Did Then' [2001] and 'KIng Sativa' [2004]. The lineup has included Anthony Kenny [Drums & Backing Vocals], Peter Cheevers [Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards & Programming], Noel McGuinness [Guitar], Derek Clabby [Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards & Programming], Olusegun Olushola [Saxophone], Armen Babasyan [Trumpet], Ken McGrath [Percussion & Backing Vocals] and Graham Birney [n/a]. The band unleashed its debut album 'Return Of The Bionic Rats' in 2009. The outfit has also released a number of singles including 'Enuff's Enuff 2010' [2010] and 'Stand Down Cowen' [2011], both of which had strong political messages.
