OVERVIEW Berries Blue was a folk rock-band based in Cork. The group centred around tbe duo of Marlene Enright [Vocals & Keyboards] and Pat Carey [Guitar & Vocals]. Marlene met Pat while they were studying music in University College Cork. The pair were often joined by satellite members Dave Duffy [Double Bass & Bass Guitar], Dave Ryan [Drums], Aisling Fitzpatrick [Cello], James Fortune [Guitar], Hugh Dillon [Guitar] and Deirdre Carey [Backing Vocals]. The band released one EP during career. That EP was entitled 'Drinkin' To Heaven' and featured 'Tired Man', 'Back Road' and 'Rainbow Rain' as well as the title track.
