OVERVIEW Bebop & Rocksteady is an indie-rock band from Co. Laois. The band formed in February 2010 and played a gig the following night. The current lineup features Shawn Mullen [Vocals and Guitar], David Harte [Bass Guitar, Guitar, Double Bass & Backing Vocals] and Darren Flynn [Drums]. However, earlier lineups have included Chris Cullen, Keith Bogan and Elliot Murphy. In April 2010, the band won the Irish Youth Music Award. Later that year, they contributed the track 'Isolation' to the 'Laois Music Connect ::: Connect One' compilation. They also went on to contribute 3 tracks to the 'Irish Youth Music Awards - Volume 3' compilation which was released later that year.
