DUBLIN 1995 - 1999
OVERVIEW
Beach came into being in 1995, originally as a 3-piece but eventually expanded to a 5-piece.

In winning the Irish Emergenza final, Beach battled against 63 Irish bands selected to take part with the legendary Irish tradition of music and entertainment it was possibly the stiffest final out of all the participating countries they then went on to win the final in eurodisney paris to become the top unsigned band in Europe.

Their self released debut single Misunderstood was released in 1997 and received much critical acclaim and a chart position of twenty four it is evidence of the lads success that the B-Side of this single Roundstone is just as well known and screamed about as the A-side.

Building on the success of Misunderstood, they released their second single, Bare (Our Souls). Its B-Side contains a delicate acoustic number which contrasts with the ruckus energy of the A-Side and on the c side is a trip hop remix of Bare.
