OVERVIEW The Bastard Rain was an indepent rock band from Dublin. Formed in 2007, the group included Eoin Cotter [Vocals, Guitar, Bodhran & Maracas], Agelos Alexopolos [Guitar] and Phil Brunton [Drums & Percussion]. The band made interesting music over which Eoin layer his powerful voice. The band released its debut EP, 'This Bastard Rain Will Crush Us All' in May 2008. That 5-track CD included tracks like 'Yukio Mishima', 'The Song Of Tereus' and 'El Sangre Sagrado'. The follow up single arrived in May of the following year. This was a double A-Side featuring 'John The Revelator' and 'Petronella De Mede' and was made available as a free download. Two weeks later, the debut long player, 'Of Stolen Birds' arrived.
