OVERVIEW
Barbarellas is Edele and Keavy Lynch. The Dublin twins burst on to the intenational pop scene in 1998 as part of four-piece girl band B*Witched. That group went on to become the most successful Irish girl band ever with 4 consecutive number one singles in the UK. The group did, howeve, split in 2002 after two albums and a string of hit singles.

The sisters spent the next number of years writing, producing, getting married and having babies. However, the lure of music was never far away. In 2010, the pair made a reappearance as Barbarellas. The group's debut performance came at the Miss Ireland Competition in Spetmeber of that year. The band performed three new tracks to the captive audience.

The band launched its debut single, 'Body Rock' in January 2011. An EP version of the single followed shortly afterwards which featured several remixes of the track. Barbarellas debut album, 'Night Mode' followed in April of that year.
