BANDON, CO. CORK DATES
OVERVIEW
Bantum is a Choice Music Prize-nominated electronica artist from Cork. Otherwise known as Ruairi Lynch has been making exciting electronica music since about 2010. While music of his early work was instrumental in nature, he has been increasingly using guest vocalists to add a different dimension to his music. To date, Bantum has released two albums - 'Legion' [2013] and 'Move' [2016] as well as a series of EPs. In January 2017, the Choice Music Prize album of the year shortlist was produced and Bantum's 'Move' was included. The prize was ultimately won by The Rusangano Family for their album 'Let The Dead Bury The Dead'.

Ruairi is a producer of some renown and has remixes tracks by the likes of Le Galaxie, Owensie, Come On Live Long, Nanu Nanu and Rarely Seen Above Ground. In August 2013, Bantum released 'The Remixes' which showcased his remix work up until that point.
