DUBLIN 1993 - 2001
OVERVIEW
Bambi was formed in 1993. The line up featured Benjamin Delaney [Organ & Vocals], Karl Hussey [Guitar], Daniel Barry [Bass Guitar] and William Stewart [Drums]. The group originally played a set of punk rock covers before going on to write their own original material. The band's first output was the 'Quater Blood Technique' EP which self-released on cassette in 1995. This was followed by their first official release, an eponymously-titled 7" EP featuring a reindeer on the front cover. An album, 'May Contain Traces Of Peanuts' followed in 1997. The band released two further 7" singles, 'Hind Leg Meaty' and 'Supertease' as well as the 'Dogs Burial' EP before splitting in 2001

Karl went on to perform as a solo artist. He also joined Future Kings Of Spain. When this project came to an end, he teamed up with former FKOS man Bryan McMahon [Drums] and his old Bambi bandmate, Dan Barry [Bass Guitar]. Karl took on vocal duties in the band. William teamed up with Estel. Dan later became involved with the development of the Riffstation software.
