DUBLIN 2001 -
OVERVIEW
Bailer is a Dublin-based rock-pop band. The group was formed in 2001 and the current lineup features Cationa McGuinness [Vocals], Maurice Brennan [Guitar] and Peter Jordan [Bass Guitar]. However, earlier lineups also included Frank Chircop [Drums] and Gene Murphy [Bass Guitar].

The band announced its arrival on the music scene with the 2004 release of the 'In The City' EP. A number of tracks on this 7-track collection would later appear on the band's debut album. 2006 saw Bailer release two further singles - 'Tonight' and 'Watch Out'.

In 2008, the band finally unveiled its debut album, 'Running'. The record was produced by Bobby Boughton and Maurice Brennan and included the two singles as well as a number of tracks from the EP.

Things went quiet on the Bailer front for a period before the band returned in May 2010 with a new single, 'Daylight'. This was the first taster from the second album. A further single, 'Sometimes' followed in July 2011. The band is currently putting the finishing touches to its second album.
