OVERVIEW Babybeef is Sarah Carroll Kelly, a Dublin-based electro-pop artist. She has been involved with music on and off for several years. Her first forray was when she was 15 and she played with a covers band called Cringe. Sarah went on to study art, however, music was never too far from her thoughts. Her sound pays homage to both classic and contemporary pop acts from A-ha to Daft Punk. She went into studio with Stephen Shannon with the view to recording an EP, however, she emerged with an album. This self-titled debut album was released in September 2010. In keeping with her electro-pop quirkiness, the album included a cover version of AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck'. 2010 - Release of 'Babybeef' album [17 September]
