OVERVIEW
Samuel Arnold is a Franco-Irish singer-songwriter. With an exotic real name of Diarmuid Martinez, Samuel Arnold boasts dual (Irish and French) heritage. In fact, he spent the first 11 years of his life in the French city of Lyon before moving to Ireland. He has emerged on to the local scene over the past couple of years both as part of TicklyTeeth and solo as Samuel Arnold.

In March 2011, he released the 'City Boy EP'. The 4 track collection was credited to Samuel Arnold + Tickly Teeth. The release contained four tracks including 'Jungle Dream', 'West Always West' and 'City Boy'. Not alone does the EP showcase the singer's talent, it also reveals some of his influences. The opening track on the EP. 'Jungle Dream' immediately echoes Manu Chao while othe folk-rock influences are also present.

In 2012, he contributed the track 'Tickly Teeth' to the 'Oscar The Hypno-Dog And Other Tails' compilation.
