OVERVIEW Ancient People is a 4-piece rock band based in Donegal. The lineup features a multi-cultural set of musicians. Alisatair Simmons is the singer and guitarist who has played with a number of groups, notably Sugarfoot. Dutch man Ronald Beek is drummer while Martin O'Hara from Scotland provides guitars and keyboards. The final element of the line up is bass guitarist Dave Wintour from England. Dave has played with a multitude of bands including a string with The Wurzels from 1995 - 2002. The band plays a mixture of original material mixed with select cover versions. In 2008, the band released a single entitled 'Rise Up And Dance'.
