OVERVIEW
Americhord was a musical project of Maura O'Boyle. She first came to the attention of the musical public when she performed with Venus Envy. After going solo, she traded under a number of different names Maura Horan, Mcut and Maura O'Boyle before assumung the Americhord persona.

In 2001, she contributed the track 'Snowstorm' to the Road Relish split singles series. Memory Cells provided the slip side. In 2004, she released her own EP entitled 'Enter'. The collection in cluded 'Sunray', 'Tighter My Grip', 'Amendment' and 'Phoenix'. She went on to release another single that year in the form of the double A-Side 12" which featured 'Midnight' and 'Invader'. Throughout this period, Maura was well known and respected on the Dublin DJ scene.

In 2007. Americhord released a remixed version of the 'Enter' EP. Since then, things have been quiet on the Americhord front.
