HISTORY		Since their inception in 1998, Alistair have rapidly become one one of the most exciting and vibrant young acts to grace the Irish music scene for years. Built on a diverse range of musical influence and experience, Alistair have developed into a musical stronghold, supported on a foundation of inspired songwriting and inspirational live performance. In recent times this Dublin-based four-some have unleashed their characteristic multi-faceted sound on some of Ireland's finest venues, including Vicar Street, Cuba, Whelans and the Temple Bar Music Centre. They have supported and performed alongside such high calibre acts as The Frames, TURN, Dara and Picturehouse. 2002 has been an extremely busy and successful year for ALISTAIR. The concert trail has seen the guys augmenting their extensive fan base all over the country with headlining and support shows in venues such as Whelans, Club Mono, Pacinos, Cuba and the Sugar Club to name a few. Additionally, media coverage has been comprehensive with appearances on Newstalk FM, East Coast Radio, Phantom FM, Radio Na Life and profiles on cluas.comirishunsigned.com In recent months, the bands focus has concentrated on the production of their debut nationwide single, Did you know..?, out November 15th 2002. Produced at Red Harvest Studios, ALISTAIR have superbly combined their extensive recording experience with their unique song writing capabilities, to engineer a single of outstanding quality. With the release and promotion of the new single, the growing label and media recognition, and their extensive fan base, the remainder of 2002 promises to be a very exciting time for this young band.
