OVERVIEW Adebisi Shank are a post rock band from Wexford. The line up of the group features Lar Kaye [Guitar & Bleeps], Vinny McCreith [Bass Guitar & Blips] and Mick Roe [Drums]. Kaye had previously played with Terrordactyl (along with Mick Roe) and Vimanas. McCreith also performs as The Vinny Club. The band has taken to uniquely labelling their releases which include 'This Is The Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank' [2008] and 'This Is The Second Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank' [2010]. This record won the 'Best Album' category at the 2011 Digital Socket Awards while aso receiving a nomination for the Choice Music Award. Adebisi Shank released its imaginatively entitled third album (This Is The Third Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank) in 2014. This was to be the group's final release. In September of the same year, the group announced that it was to split. Since the split, Lar has continued to perform with the excellent All Tvvins.
