OVERVIEW Acton Bell is esentially a solo project for ex-Crumb and The Sewing Room drummer, Dez Foley. In making his lead debut, he is joined by a set of accomplished musicians in John Hegarty [Guitar[, Fiachra McCarthy [Bass Guitar] and Joss Moorkens [Drums]. Each one boasts an impressive CV - CVs which include Female Hercules, Dinah Brand, Capratone, Groom, Joan Of Arse and The Dudley Corporation. The band released its debut album, 'You Don't Know What Love Is' album in February 2015. The band's sound is consistent with Dez's past history as he combines elements of indie pop, rock and folk. The album also features the vocals of Eileen Gogan [The Would Bes, $1,000 Wedding & Melba] on backing vocals.
