OVERVIEW A Clockwork Orange was an early 1980s rock band from Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. The group was fronted by Brendan Markham. He was joined in the lineup by Pat Madigan [Drums], Niall Mooney [Guitar] and Peter O'Connor [Bass Guitar]. The band played together until about 1985 at which time the quartet split. There are no known recordings from the band. Brendan decided to move to Greece. However, he went on to leave an indelible mark on the Irish music scene throufh his involvement with bands like The Drive, Rubbergutt, The Driven and Citizen. He would also go on to launch a solo career.
