DUBLIN 1995 -
OVERVIEW
Abaddon Incarnate is a death metal band based in Dublin. The band was formed in 1995, however, the then members had previously been part of Bereaved. That line up was Alan Kelly [Guitar], Steve Mahar [Vocals & Guitar], Bill Whelan [Guitar], Rob Tierney [Bass Guitar] and Olan Parkinson [Drums]. The band changed its name from Bereaved to Abbadon Incarnate on the release of its first Demo EP.

While the band has gone through multiple line up changes, Steve Mahar and Bill Whelan have been mainstays with the group.

The band recorded a first demo in 1995. This five track collection was entitled 'When The Demons Come'. Three of these tracks, 'Vile Pleasures Of Transfiguration', 'When The Demons Come' and 'The Sharing Of Thoughts With The Dead' were end up on the band's debut album. This came a number of years later in 1999 and was titled 'The Last Supper'.

The band went on to release three further albums - 'Nadir' in 2001, 'Dark Crusade' in 2004 and 'Cascade' in 2009.
