2005 - 2011

OVERVIEW 21 Demands was an indie rock band from Swords, Co. Dublin. The group was formed in 2005 with a line up of Stephen Garrigan [Vocals & Guitar], Mark Prendergast [Lead Guitar], Vinny May Jr [Drums] and Conor Linnane [Bass Guitar]. The group came to public fame over the 2006 - 2007 period. The group participated in Series 5 of You're A Star on RTE television, eventually finishing as the runner up. In March of 2007, the band created history. 21 Demands released the single 'Give Me A Minute' as a digital download. The single was the first to go number one on digital downloads alone. This was also the first time that an unsigned band topped the Irish singles charts. In 2011, 21 Demands came to an end. However, Stephen, Mark and Vinny decided to form Kodaline along with Jason Boland. 2005 - Band formed 2011 - Band Split SONGS 'Courtesan', 'Give Me A Minute', 'Life Is A Fairground'
